About Me
My life as an artist began at age four, with happy memories of painting alongside my mother at the kitchen table.
This continues to influence the peaceful satisfaction I have with the painting process. I enjoy working in different
media,
including pen and ink, pencil, and mixed media however, I always return to my first love, watercolor painting.

Art has always been my passion and I first entered the professional field as a graphic designer in 1979. I obtained my MA in Art Education from the University of Florida in 2004. After over 30 years of teaching art in public schools, I am now retired and thoroughly enjoy creating portraits of beloved pets.
